I noticed Nick always mentions that popstars who are famous in America are so clean. He always comments on how they are probably wearing clean clothes and took a shower. Like, I’m sorry but are UK artists typically not clean?
Americans in general are more concerned with personal hygiene than Europeans, at least stereotypically—here it’s pretty common to shower every day, whereas over there people are more likely to shower every other or every third day (which means you often see Americans thinking that Europeans smell, and Europeans thinking that Americans are weird and a bit wasteful). Obviously that varies, but that’s the stereotype, and so I think he’s carrying it over to popstars as well.
